In principle, all our apartments are suitable for families. Depending on the size of your family and whether you require extra space, we offer a range of different accommodation options. For larger families and groups, several apartments or an entire floor can be combined.

At Fräulein Nannerl, all our apartments are suitable for families. Smaller families will find a suitable temporary home here, as will large families or groups of friends.
If you’re travelling with several people, you can combine several apartments or – subject to availability – use an entire floor. Depending on the arrangement, we can also accommodate larger groups.

Snow fun right on your doorstep
The Fräulein Nannerl is just a few steps from the slopes, which makes your skiing holiday particularly enjoyable: no long walks, no fiddly changes of transport and no hassle with ski buses or lugging around your heavy winter kit. Here, you can start the day in a relaxed manner straight after breakfast.
Recommendation: The Gerlos Total Ski School offers high-quality ski lessons for children and adults. The meeting point for the ski lessons is right by the Isskogel cable car, just a two-minute walk from the Fräulein Nannerl.
Winter adventures off-piste
Gerlos has plenty to offer even off-piste. You can go for a walk together through the snow-covered landscape, plan a toboggan ride or make your own tracks whilst cross-country skiing. If you’d prefer to take it easy, you can settle down in the apartment and enjoy your time together without a fixed daily schedule. In the evening, our sauna house provides soothing warmth after an active day in the mountains.

- Krumbachtal to visit our Haflinger horses. We run a Haflinger stud farm (summer)
- Krimmler Achental to see the waterfalls and on to the Krimmler Tauernhaus, or (if you don’t want to walk that far), there are places to stop for refreshments along the way (summer)
- Gerlos - Zell Panorama Trail (summer)
- Schönachtal – right next to Fräulein Nannerl (winter and summer)
- Reservoir circular walk (winter and summer)
Summer in the Zillertal: Out and about as a family
Gerlos offers a particularly varied holiday experience for families with children in the Zillertal. As part of the Family Active Programme, young guests can explore the mountains alongside their parents – with plenty of variety and highlights such as the atmospheric torchlight hike. For teenagers, the Arena Teenies programme offers more action-packed activities: cycling, climbing or canyoning provide just the right amount of adventure to make a summer unforgettable. And best of all: many of these experiences are included with the guest card – perfect for spending your holiday together, filled with moments both big and small.
Little adventures right on our doorstep
Here at Fräulein Nannerl, too, spending time outdoors continues in a relaxed atmosphere. Whilst the grown-ups take a breather on the terrace or reflect on the day’s events, a little adventure of their own awaits the little ones right on our doorstep: a newly built, fenced-off playground with a play tower, slide, swing, climbing frame and sandpit. This means the children can play in a clearly defined area whilst you make yourselves comfortable in the garden.
Deckchairs, chairs and tables are all ready and waiting for you. On warm days, our new water feature provides the perfect way to cool off – just the thing after an active day in the mountains. And as the evening slowly winds down, cosy seating and our fire pit invite you to round off the day together.
A chance to cool off right on our doorstep
When the summer days get warm, a refreshing dip is never far away here. Right next to the Fräulein Nannerl, a clear mountain stream flows out of the Schönachtal valley – ice-cold, invigorating and just the thing for a spontaneous dip whenever you fancy it. Many of our guests make a point of using the stream on hot days: dip their feet in the water, take a deep breath and simply enjoy the moment.
From summer 2027: Play, splash about and be amazed
In 2027 (opening July 2027), the Tourist Board is building a new, large playground with water features, a Fun Court, mini-golf and other play facilities right next to the Isskogelbahn. As soon as the playground is finished and we have some photos, we’ll tell you more here.
